BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 3. Kazakhstan National Bank observed an overall decline of economic activity in Kazakhstan in November said Rustem Orazalin, Director of the Department of Monetary Policy of the National Bank, Trend reports, citing Kazakh media.
According to Orazalin, the business activity rating now stands at 48.7 points, compared to 49.2 points in October.
The National Bank official added that a decrease in business activity was observed in all sectors, except manufacturing, which stands at 48.8 points, a slight increase of 0.2 points, compared to 48.6 points in October. The construction sector took a major blow by decreasing to 44.7 points from the previous level of 48.4 points.
Meanwhile, the National Bank considers that business is optimistic regarding the possible improvements in the business environment over the next 6 months.
