BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 13. Kazakhstan’s Agency for Regulation and Development of Financial Market registered 76 new bond issues in 2022 and the total volume of issues registered by the Agency amounted to 3.2 trillion Kazakh tenge ($6.9 billion), Madina Abylkassymova, the Chairperson of the Agency said in an interview, Trend reports citing the press service of the Agency.

The volume of bond issues in 2022 constitutes a 36 percent increase, compared to the previous year.

Of these, 1.1 trillion Kazakh tenge ($2.4 billion) have already been placed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), which is a 15 percent increase in year-on-year terms.

The companies of the quasi-public sector attracted the majority of total financing, which equals to 95 percent or 1.02 trillion Kazakh tenge ($2.2 billion), while the share of private sector entities amounted to 5 percent or 54 billion Kazakh tenge ($117.8 million).
