ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 27. Iranian Babak Copper Company is exploring possibilities for implementing investment projects in the mining and metallurgical industry of Kazakhstan, Trend reports.
According to Kazakh Invest national company, this was stated by Head of Iranian Babak Copper Company Alireza Saber during a series of meetings of representatives of Kazakh Invest and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Iran with the leadership of major Iranian companies.
Saber expressed his company's keen interest in building a factory for producing cathode copper Grade-A. In the near future, the Iranian side plans to visit Kazakhstan to delve into the project's details and further advance this promising collaboration.
Furthermore, the Kazakh representatives also held a meeting with the leadership of Kalleh Dairy factory. Kalleh Dairy stands as one of the largest dairy plants in the Middle East and processes over 2,500 tons of milk daily, generating more than 2,700 tons of dairy products each day.
Also, during a meeting with President of Solico Group, Gholam-Ali Soleimani, it was noted that the company is considering establishing a milk processing plant in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan. Solico Group, a prominent food company, currently operates in over 25 countries worldwide, manufacturing and distributing food products.
Additionally, several meetings were held with the leadership of companies such as Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company, Middle East Mines and Minerals Industries Development Holding Company, MEMSECO, and National Development Fund of Iran.
The discussions centered around potential joint projects in the fields of agriculture, engineering, mining and metallurgy, information technology, and energy.
