ASTANA, Kazakhstan, August 29. Kazakhstan's revenues to the state budget are expected to reach 16.1 trillion tenge ($34.7 billion), or 11.9 percent of GDP, in 2024, Alibek Kuantyrov, Minister of National Economy of the country, said, Trend reports.
According to the minister, the country is forecast to see an increase in revenues to the budget in 2026 - up to 18.4 trillion tenge ($39.7 billion), or 10.7 percent of GDP.
He noted that Kazakhstan plans to attract a targeted transfer from the National Fund in the amount of 1.6 trillion tenge ($3.4 billion) in 2024 to finance socially significant and strategically important infrastructure projects on a national scale.
Meanwhile, as Kuantyrov pointed out, the country's budget deficit is expected to account for 2.6 percent of GDP next year, and decline further to 2.4 percent in 2025, and 2.3 percent in 2026.
State budget expenditures, in turn, are forecast to amount to 24 trillion tenge ($51.8 billion) in 2024, and 25.2 trillion tenge ($54.4 billion) in 2026.
Furthermore, the minister noted that Kazakhstan's real GDP growth in 2024 is projected at 5.3 percent, followed by an increase to 6 percent in 2028.
