We are committed to reducing direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions by 15 percent from 2019 emissions levels. The company plans to achieve its goals by increasing the operational efficiency of subsidiaries and affiliates, including Kazakhoil Aktobe LLP, and increasing the company’s energy balance from electricity from renewable sources," Serikkali Brekeshev said.
The participants of Kazakhoil Aktobe are KazMunayGas and Caspian Investments Resources Ltd. (a subsidiary of Sinopec) in equal shares (50 percent).
