The state budget of Kazakhstan received 13.8 trillion tenge (about $28.98 billion) of income based on the results of 9 months of 2023, the plan was fulfilled by 97 percent, said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Yerulan Zhamaubaev at a government meeting, Trend reports.
"Thus, the republican budget was replenished by 9.2 trillion tenge (about $19.3 billion), local budgets - 4.7 trillion tenge (about $9.87 billion)," he said.
According to Zhamaubaev, over the same period, state budget expenditures were fulfilled by 99.3 percent, republican - by 98.6 percent, local budgets - by 99.5 percent.
In turn, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov noted that over the past 9 months, all main indicators have shown positive dynamics in the Abay region, West Kazakhstan and Kyzylorda regions, and the cities of Almaty and Shymkent.
The meeting also reviewed other results of the socio-economic development of Kazakhstan and the execution of the republican budget from January through September of the current year.
For 6 months of 2023, the state budget revenues of Kazakhstan amounted to 11.38 trillion tenge (about $23.4 billion, which is 14.8 percent more than the same period in 2022 (9.92 trillion tenge or about $20.8 billion for 6 months of 2022).
