ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 1. Kazakhstan's ForteBank and Mastercard have launched a service called Alem for international transfers, Trend reports.
The new solution allows bank clients to send money to the recipient's bank account or card quickly and cheaply at any convenient time. For the first time, ForteBank clients will be able to send transfers to 37 countries, including such popular destinations for Kazakhstan as the EU countries, China, the US, the UK, Türkiye, the UAE and others.
The new service from ForteBank is based on Mastercard Cross-border Services, a technology that provides access to more than 150 countries and 90 percent of the world's population through a fast, secure and convenient service tailored to the digital channels of banks and non-bank financial institutions.
Meanwhile, transfers to most countries will be carried out almost instantly. The list of available countries is planned to be increased to 150 in the future.

The service provides Kazakhstanis with the variety, security, transparency and flexibility needed when making international transfers. In turn, Amyrkhan Chikanayev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Forte, noted that ForteBank is pleased to be an exclusive partner of Mastercard and the first to launch the Alem service in Kazakhstan.
ForteBank is one of the four largest private banks in Kazakhstan in terms of assets and has a wide branch network in all regions of the country.
