ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 29. Asian Development Bank and General Confederation of Italian Industry (Confindustria) will allocate funds to build hospitals in Kazakhstan, Trend reports.
This agreement was reached during a meeting between the management of KAZAKH INVEST JSC (Kazakhstan's national company) and representatives of Asian Development Bank and Confindustria.
KAZAKH INVEST JSC and Confindustria agreed to conclude a memorandum of cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals and healthcare during the visit of the Kazakh officials to Italy in 2024.
"Italy is one of the world's leading producers of medical equipment and technologies. Involving Italian companies in building a hospital in Kazakhstan will allow us to gain access to advanced technologies and experience, which will ultimately help improve the quality of medical care in the country," said Project Manager of KAZAKH INVEST JSC Daulet Saktaganov.
In turn, President of Confindustria Ernesto Ferlenghi noted that, the Association highly appreciates the cooperation with KAZAKH INVEST JSC and Asian Development Bank.
"We are confident that joint efforts will allow us to implement this important project at a high level," he said.
