ASTANA, Kazakhstan, December 23. The volume of oil and gas condensate production in Kazakhstan amounted to 257,200 tons on December 22, 2023, Trend reports.
Gas production during the same period stood at 177.4 million cubic meters, according to official figures.
On December 22, oil refineries in Kazakhstan processed 49,400 tons of oil at the same time.
Meanwhile, gas production volume in 2022 totaled 53.3 billion cubic meters, or 3.1 percent over the planned volume. Commercial gas output was 27.8 billion cubic meters, or 94 percent of the planned amount.
Domestic commercial gas consumption in Kazakhstan was 19.3 billion cubic meters, or 7.2 percent exceeding the 2022 plan, while exports were 4.6 billion cubic meters, or 85.1 percent of the plan.
The volume of liquefied petroleum gas production (provided to the domestic market) was 2.8 million tons, or 98 percent of the planned volume.
At the same time, the volume of oil production in Kazakhstan in 2022 amounted to 84.2 million tons, or 1.6 percent over the planned figure. Oil exports in 2022 reached 64.3 million tons, or 3.4 percent over the initial plan.
Kazakhstan also plans to produce 90.5 million tons of oil in 2023, of which 71 million are planned to be exported.
