KazTransOil increases tariff for oil pumping to domestic market

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 28. KazTransOil (Kazakhstan's national operator of the main oil pipeline) will increase the tariff for oil pumping to the domestic market of Kazakhstan from July 1, Trend reports.

The corresponding decision was made in accordance with the order of the Chair of the Committee for the Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 20, 2023.

Thus, the price for pumping oil through the KazTransOil trunk pipeline system will be 4,851 tenge per 1 ton per 1,000 km (excluding VAT).

Currently, the tariff of 4,849 tenge per 1 ton per 1,000 km (excluding VAT) is effective as of July 1, 2023.

To note, KazTransOil is a part of the KazMunayGas (national oil and gas company) group and owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines with a length of 5,400 km.

Meanwhile, KazTransOil transported 11.379 million tons of oil separately through its main oil pipeline system from January through March 2024. Compared to the same period in 2023, the volume of oil transportation increased by 1.03 million tons.
