Kazakh KazTransOil discloses financial results for 1Q2024

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 28. KazTransOil (Kazakhstan's national operator of the main oil pipeline) has revealed financial results for the first quarter of 2024, Trend reports.

According to the report, the company's consolidated revenue last year amounted to 76.5 billion tenge (about $173 million), which is 12.9 percent higher than the same figure for the first quarter of 2023.

The consolidated net profit of KazTransOil from January through March 2024 amounted to 10.7 billion tenge (about $24.3 million). This is 21.8 percent more than in the same period in 2023.

To note, KazTransOil is a part of the KazMunayGas (national oil and gas company) group and owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines with a length of 5,400 km.

Meanwhile, KazTransOil transported 11.379 million tons of oil separately through its main oil pipeline system from January through March 2024. Compared to the same period in 2023, the volume of oil transportation increased by 1.03 million tons.

Furthermore, the consolidated revenue of KazTransOil in 2023 amounted to 290.4 billion tenge (about $650 million), which is 14 percent higher than the same figure for 2022.

The consolidated net profit of the company at the end of 2023 amounted to 32.8 billion tenge (about $73.8 million). This is 66 percent higher than in 2022.
