ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 22. Kazakhstan and the US have discussed a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership between the parties, covering a wide range of areas, from traditional energy sources to the latest technologies in the field of renewable energy, Trend reports.

Discussions took place during the Working Group Meeting within the framework of the US-Kazakhstan Strategic Energy Dialogue (SED).

SED efforts are currently focused on key areas such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, developing renewable energy sources, extracting and processing critical materials, and ensuring energy and global nuclear security. In this area, the participants discussed the work plan for bilateral cooperation for 2024 and the current status of creating working subgroups in the above areas.
