Kazakhstan, China held talks on scientific-technical cooperation

(KAZINFORM) - A Kazakhstan, delegation led by Vice Minister of Education and Science Azamat Abdymomunov, held talks with Chinas colleagues within the frame of the 2nd session of the scientific-technical cooperation subcommittee of Sino-Kazakh cooperation committee in Beijing.

Delegation consisted of representatives of ministries and departments, scientific circle, rectors of higher institutions, and private sector, reports Trend.

At the subcommittees sitting was considered information on implementation of projects, included into Sino-Kazakh scientific-technical collaboration program during its 1st meeting last March 15. Besides, the parties considered 50 new projects for subsequent realization on a parity basis, like research in sphere of chemical technologies for mining industries, biotechnologies, food industry, information technologies and agro-industrial complex.

Following the results of the meeting the sides signed a Protocol on extension and strengthening of cooperation in realizing joint research programs and projects, and in the fields of mutual interest, press service of Kazakhstan Embassy in China informs.
