(Kazakhstan today) - Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, is going to discuss the energy strategy on the Eurasian continent at the G8 summit in Saint Petersburg, Kassymzhomart Tokayev, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, said speaking on "Khabar" TV channel.
"The President of Kazakhstan is preparing very seriously for the G8 summit and of course, he will make concrete propositions related with the energy strategy on the Eurasian continent," - FM said, reports Trend.
The President is also expected to express his ideas about the Commonwealth reform. "US partners are interested in the future destiny of the CIS," - Mr. Tokayev said.
Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, invited Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, to participate in the G8 summit as an observer.
