(Kazinform) - Today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kassymzhomart Tokayev has met with German Foreign Affairs Ministrys Secretary of State Hernot Erler in Astana city.
It is known that within the framework of the working visit of K. Tokayev to Germany he held negotiations with German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Erler as well, reports Trend.
The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation. Federal Republic of Germany that will become a chairman of European Union in the first half of 2007 plans to develop Central Asian direction considering it very priority in diplomacy. German side supported foreign policy course of Kazakhstan directed to provision of security and stability in the region.
