UN Security Council should accept resolution on Lebanese-Israeli conflict: Kazakh MFA

(Kazinform) - Kazakhstan offers condolences to the Government and people of Lebanon in the context with the death of non-combat population in consequence of bombing of Kafr Kana village, announce on Lebanese-Israeli conflict prepared by Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads. It has been presented today at the briefing in Astana city, reports Trend.

We regret profoundly about the continuing escalation of the conflict caused sufferings of a peaceful population of Lebanon, Palestine and Israel. Kazakhstan considers that military activities should not lead to victims among the non-combatants, liquidation of social infrastructure and humanitarian crisis, the announce reads. Kazakhstan calls all conflicting sides for immediate ceasefire and considers necessary to accept consolidated resolution of the UN Security Council. Decision of Israel to stop air attacks for 48 hours would be the first step toward hostilities termination.
