Kazakhstan, South Korea sign a number of bilateral documents

(Kazakhstan today) - A number of bilateral documents was signed Friday in Astana as a result of the meetings between Danial Akhmetov, Prime Minister of RK, and Han Myung-Sook, Prime Minister of South Korea, reports Trend.

In particular, Danial Akhmetov said at a briefing after the meeting that "memorandums on understanding in road communication, water resources and transport" were signed.

Besides, the parties concluded an agreement on activities of Korean voluntaries in Kazakhstan and also agreed to co-operate on the establishment of the "e-government" in the republic.

The parties also agreed "to promote co-operation in the infrastructure construction in Kazakhstan."

"The first visit of the Korean Prime Minister became a worthy continuation of our co-operation. I hope that it will contribute into a growth of partnership between our states," - the Kazakh PM said.

According to him, during the last 12 years the Korean investments into Kazakhstan amounted to $2 billion. More than 300 ventures with the Korean participation work in Kazakhstan.
