( Kazakhstan Today ) - From the beginning of 2007 two HIV infected have been revealed in Kyzylorda, last year - seven, the regional AIDS center informed.
"One of the HIV infected revealed this year is the local resident, another - the visitor from Uzbekistan . Last year seven HIV cases have been revealed in the region including a medical assistant from South Africa ," the head physician of the regional AIDS center Asylbek Togyzbayev said.
Kyzylorda oblast totals 28 HIV infected, first of who was revealed in 1990.
This year the republican budget allocated special transfer for equipment of blood centers totaling 58.4 million KZT.
