President Strikes Kyrgyzstan’s Food Mafia

R.Mashadihasanli/ On 30 July, Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev received country's Prime Minister Igor Chudinov to charge him with settling of the situation regarding sale of agricultural products at country's markets, Kyrgyzstan President's Administration reported.
President stressed the need to provide conditions to sell agricultural products in domestic markets at producers' prices.
The order must be fulfilled by 25 August. "The period is very short, but let the city hall and governors of all provinces solve the issue faster. Let a person spend 10-15 minutes more for the way, but be able to buy agricultural products 2 or 3 times cheaper than at private markets," Bakiyev said.
