CIS Interparliamentary Assembly’s commissions meets in Kyrgyzstan

Sessions of two resident commissions of CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly begin in the city of Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan today, June 8, Kyrgyz parliamentary press service reported.

Secretary General, chief of the Secretariat of CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly's Council Mikhail Krotov, Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Aitibai Tagaev and parliamentary deputies will participate in the meeting. The sessions will be held by Resident Commissions for Culture, Information, Tourism and Sport and also the Commission for Study of State Construction and Local Self- administration, "24.kg" reported.

Draft bills on Internet, Passport, visa and other identity documents of new generation, State on-line services, Telemedical services, Physical culture and sport are on the agenda of the resident commission for culture, information, tourism and sport's meeting. Besides it is planned to discuss model Code of Intellectual Property for Commonwealth of Independent States and a number of other issues.

Members of the resident commission for study of state construction and local self-administration have to consider draft recommendations to General principles of territorial organization of local self-administration, coordination of supplements to the Convention on Transfrontier Cooperation between CIS countries. It is also planed to discuss cooperation of the commission with Council on Interregional and Transfrontier Cooperation of CIS members and consider implementation of social and cultural programs at the local level in Kyrgyzstan.

The people's representatives will continue their work with seminar for international observers over state authorities' election and holding of referendums on Tuesday, June 9. On the same day they will meet with mayor of Cholpon-Ata city and visit rural administrations of Issyk-Kul region.
