Russia’s First Deputy Premier to visit Kyrgyzstan

Igor Shuvalov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia arrives in Kyrgyzstan Tuesday, the Russian Embassy in Bishkek informed the news agency 24.kg.

Visit of the high-ranking Russian official through the post-Soviet states is of exploratory character, in view of the Russia's chairmanship in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2010. Shuvalov tours along the CIS member countries as a national coordinator.

Kurmanbek Bakiev, President of Kyrgyzstan and Kadyrbek Sarbaev the Foreign Minister will expectedly receive the high guest.

The day before Shuvalov paid an official visit to Tashkent where held bilateral talks with the leader of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

The Russian official representative will possibly hold bilateral talks with Kyrgyz leadership to discuss process of agreements' implementation, reached as a part of a previous meeting of the Russian and Kyrgyz leaders.
