"In Kyrgyzstan unprecedented body of the Constitutional Council is formed", Omurbek Tekebaev, deputy head of the interim government, stated at the round table "The draft of Constitution KR. Analysis and perspectives" held by OSCE, news agency "24.kg" reported.

"Its members are only two representatives of the interim government - me and Abdygany Erkebaev; two are representatives of courts. The rest are well-known public activists, representatives of the civil society and non-governmental organizations. Such body will allow transparent discussion of the Main Law and conduct constitutional reform efficiently", Omurbek Tekebaev considers.

Deputy Head of the interim government thinks that Kyrgyzstan has "gap for possibilities" of building really democratic state". "In 2005 the Constitutional Council was not able to realize the initiative of the constitutional reform. After April events in 2010 we have full right to do that. They say that there is not enough time for discussion the draft of Constitution. But I would like to notice that the discussion had been started five years ago during round tables, parties meetings and rallies. However, we understand that only active discussion can lead to really democratic constitutional reform", Omurbek Tekebaev added.
