The OSCE is ready to help Kyrgyzstan in restoration of legal order in the south of the country. Ambassador Andrew Tesoriere stated Wednesday at the meeting with the Osh oblast Commandant Baktybek Alymbekov, informs the press service of the Commandant’s office.

The OSCE is ready to help Kyrgyzstan in restoration of legal order in the south of the country. Ambassador Andrew Tesoriere stated Wednesday at the meeting with the Osh oblast Commandant Baktybek Alymbekov, informs the press service of the Commandant's office, news agency "24.kg" reported.

"We have been cooperating with your republic, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs for a long time. Therefore we cannot remain aside, when such grievous trouble came, and are always ready to help in restoration of legal order", said Andrew Tesoriere.

Baktybek Alymbekov noted that cooperation will further continue in a part of Quarter Police Program. First of all, it will concern training and securing of the material and technical base of the patrol and inspection service of interior bodies.

According to him, the situation in the region on the whole is stabilizing. "Today the conciliation of the parties is in process. Along with positive moments there are negative factors too. We observe here definite confrontation of two parties, it especially concerns the youth. In this connection, the Commandant offered the OSCE representatives to participate in elaboration and implementation of the program in this direction", the statement reads.
