Night patrol was shot dead in Kyzyl-Kiya city of Batken oblast of Kyrgyzstan. Buzurmambek Tursumatov, the chief of Batken Department of Internal Affairs (UVD), reported to 24.kg news agency.
According to him, yesternight a driver of a car without license plate had fired at militiamen when they examined the car. Two militiamen died at once while senior operative Mukhammed Atanazarov got stomach wound. Now he is in the hospital and in grave condition.
"The fire at militiamen was brought down when they approached the car for inspection. The investigation revealed that there were two men of middle age in the car. Meanwhile we are not able to say who these people are, how do they appear in the city and where from do they take arms. Field investigators are working on the scene of the crime. We have found a mobile phone of one of criminals. Now we are trying to find them and detain them being hot on the trail," Buzurmambek Tursumatov said.
