Kyrgyzstan sees CSTO as a key regional organization providing safety for country-members, the president for transitional period Roza Otunbayeva stated at the meeting with the CSTO's Secretary General Nikolay Borduzha, "24.kg" reported.
The head of CSTO informed the head of the state about results of the meeting with the Premier Almazbek Atambayev, vice Premier Shamil Atakhanov, Director of the State Drug Control Agency Vitaly Orozaliyev.
According to Mr. Borduzha, the Secretariat of CSTO is planning to organize number of events aimed at strengthening interaction of law enforcement and power agencies of CSTO countries.
"We are greeting resuming activity of the State Drug Control Agency of Kyrgyzstan. This is a very important decision in the light of contemporary challenges and threats which country-members face. It is needed to solve questions connected with providing the Agency with modern equipment," said Nikolay Borduzha.
