Kyrgyzstan will reduce state apparatus

In 2011, Kyrgyzstan expects to downsize the state apparatus by not less than 10 percent. This was stated today by First Vice-Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Omurbek Babanov, 24.kg reported.
According to him, within the framework of innovation, the government does not rule out reforming of the administrative and territorial units. "To address this issue the commission included independent experts. Today I would like to hear specific proposals for the program and schedule of work," Babanov said .

Recall that, according to government regulation, improvement of public administration, an ad hoc commission, whose mission is to optimize the governance of schemes, including questions on number of civil servants and other employees, will deal with this issue. Its members shall develop and submit to government recommendations within two months.

The Commission on optimizing the system of government is headed by First Vice Prime Minister Babanov.
