The newly appointed the U.S. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Pamela Spratlen presented credentials to the president for transitional period of Kyrgyzstan Roza Otunbayeva today, 24.kg reported.

"I hope your stay in Kyrgyzstan will be fruitful and interesting for you and become a new stage in your diplomatic career and in further development and strengthening of an efficient partnership between our countries," said the head of the state.

They discussed prospects of relations development between Kyrgyzstan and the USA during the bilateral meeting.

They expressed satisfaction with achieved level of cooperation. In particular, the head of the state noted that the Kyrgyz Republic has ties with the U.S. over the most important areas and she thanked the U.S. for its support.

"At the current stage of bilateral cooperation Otunbayeva expressed interest in deepening further cooperation in education, in the fight against corruption and terrorism," the press-service reports.
