Kyrgyz MP begs pardon for June tragedy
Parliament member Zhyldyzkan Dzholdosheva begged pardon for June tragedy in the name of officials working under Akaev, Bakiyev and the interim government, 24.kg reported.
She said that no one of top officials had the courage for apologies for bloodshed in the south of the country. "No one wants to admit guilt for bringing ordinary citizens to their knees. Not children of deputies but ordinary people perished during those events. If nobody has the courage then I, as a woman, mother, are begging pardon before the people of Kyrgyzstan," said Zhyldyzkan Dzholdosheva.
She noted that her documentary about June events is based on real facts and documents. "This is my answer to the book "Hour of jackal" where Kyrgyz nation was called barbarian, jackals. Is it admissible? My documentary must be spread amid people to show the whole truth about that tragedy," added she.
