Two Kyrgyz presidential candidates fail language test

Two presidential candidates in Kyrgyzstan failed the examination on the official language knowledge, KazTAG reported on Thursday.

They are the leader of the Green Party of Kyrgyzstan Erkin Bulekbayev and Tolubay bank's committee of directors' member Seyitbek Bayguttiyev.

Bayguttiyev sees shortage of time for preparation to the examination as the main reason of his failure.

The second candidate Bulekbayev answered all the questions, but the examination commission considered his language not as fluent as needed.

Meken Intamagi party leader Temirbek Asanbekov was the first who passed the official language test successfully. Butun Kyrgyzstan party's chairman Adakhan Madumarov also succeeded in the exams.

The examination consists of three parts: writing, speaking and reading.
