In Kyrgyzstan, the volume of GDP for January-August 2011 increased by 7 percent, according to the National Statistic Committee of KRG.

In Kyrgyzstan, the volume of GDP for January-August 2011 increased by 7 percent, according to the National Statistic Committee of KRG, 24.kg reported.

Reportedly, the gross domestic product of KRG is estimated at KGS 160.8 billion or 107 percent of indices of 2010.

The volume of the industrial products totals KGS 104.9 billion soms or 118.6 percent including: the volume of mining industry - 2.203 billion or 116.9 percent; manufacturing industry - 86.233 billion or 117.6 percent; production and distribution of electricity, gas and water - 16.472 billion or 111.6 percent.

The total output of agriculture, hunt and forestry is estimated at KGS 80.831 billion soms or 101.5 percent of indices of 2010; the total output of construction - 21.62 billion or 102.6 percent of volumes of the last year.

The volume of postal services and telecommunications is estimated at KGS 13.372 billions; trade turnover, repair of motor vehicles, household goods and personal items - at 138.972 billion.

For eight months in KRG 375.3 thousand square meters of private housing were put into operation or 118.3 percent of indices of last year. In this period 23.523 million tons of shipped goods was carried by all modes of transport and number of carried passengers was 371.5 million people.

The resident population of KRG made up 5 million 515 thousand 6 people and increased by 1 percent in comparison with 2010.
