China declares its support to the Kyrgyz Government in providing sustainable development of the country's economy, 24.kg reported. The Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Wen Jiabao stated at the meeting with the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev on Wednesday.
According to the Kyrgyz Government's press service, the parties have discussed the topicals of trade and economic cooperation between two countries and stressed the need of relationship development for mutual benefit.
The Kyrgyz and Chinese heads of Governments have agreed to give a new impulse to the implementation of joint economic projects, among them - the planned construction of the China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan railway. Almazbek Atambayev and Wen Jiabao noted that the railway's construction connecting China with Central Asian countries "will be a modern revival of the Great Silk Road".
