The Kyrgyz Personnel Service intends to check all political employees for the existence of dual citizenship. The head of the Personnel Service of the KRG Cholponkul Arabayev stated at today's session of the parliamentary Committee on Ethics and Regulations, news agency "24.kg" reported.
According to him, the facts of existence of officials' dual citizenship holding political office became frequent in recent time. "We think the time to deal with the situation and to check what the situation in fact has come. I also support the idea of the deputy Ulukbek Kochkorov that military personnel, who work with the materials related to state secrets, should not have citizenship of another country. We have cases when these people work at one moment for Kyrgyzstan, at another for other state. This imperils the security of the state," said Cholponkul Arabayev.
