According to the preliminary results, the Kyrgyz opposition left the governmental parties behind in city and town councils elections, which were held on Sunday, ITAR-TASS reported.

The vote took place in Osh, Karakole oblasts, Tokmak city and 13 rural districts.

In Osh city Uluttar Birimdigi opposition political party won after collecting about 47 percent of votes. At the same time, the governmental Social-democratic and Respublika paries, headed by the President and Prime-Minister collected 24 and 17 percents of votes.

The governmental parties were not able to win in Karakole oblast either, where the vote process was followed by disorders. About a hundred of young people broke through the police surrounding and entered the city major's office. They demanded to stop the falsification of the election results.

Later the order was restored.
