Kyrgyz president Almazbek Atambayev has sent a statement of objection to Jogorku Kenesh regarding the law "On operation of bookmakers and betting shops in Kyrgyzstan", the official website of the president reports.
Upon the initiative of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kyrgyz Jogorku Kenesh passed the law "On operation of bookmakers and betting shops in Kyrgyzstan" on December 12, 2013.
The purpose of this law is legal regulation of bookmakers' and betting shops' activity in Kyrgyzstan.
