Russia will provide Kyrgyzstan with all needed support on joining the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, KyrTAG quotes Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev as saying on Thursday.
He made the statement during his meeting with Kyrgyz government head Zhantoro Satibaldiyev.
The sides discussed preparation work of Kyrgyzstan's joining the organization.
Satibaldiyev said that Kyrgyzstan hopes for Russia's support.
Medvedev said that long and hard work is needed for this issue.
The sides also stressed the importance of implementing the transnational project of Russia-Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan - Tajikistan railway.
