Kyrgyzstan reports single-day increase in COVID-19 cases by 420
Over the past 24 hours, 420 new cases of U07.1 и U07.2 COVID-19 were identified in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said on Sunday, Trend reports citing Kabar.
A total of 36,719 coronavirus cases were recorded in the country since the beginning of the pandemic.
Among the new cases, 19 are medical workers, total at 2,809, including 1,812 recoveries.
848 Kyrgyzstanis with previously confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus infection have cured Sunday, raising the total number of recoveries to 27, 274.
As of Aug. 2, death toll from COVID-19 has reached 1,409 after 12 more virus-related fatalities were registered.
