BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 16. Kyrgyzstan significantly increased exports to Kazakhstan in the first quarter of 2022, Trend reports citing the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the statistical data, the total amount of exported goods from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan from January through March 2022 totaled $104.4 million, an increase of 56.2 percent compared to $66.8 million in the same period of 2021.

Kyrgyzstan’s exports to Russia amounted to $88.7 million in the first quarter of 2022, a decrease of 1.2 percent compared to $89.8 million in the reporting period of 2021.

Meanwhile, Belarus imported from Kyrgyzstan goods totaled $3.2 million from January through March 2022, which is an increase of 4.8 percent compared to $3.1 million in the same period of 2021.
