BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 29. Kyrgyzstan shared data on coal exports to EU countries from January through April 2022, Trend reports with the reference to Kabar.kg.
Kyrgyzstan, in the first four months of 2022, exported 2,934 tons of coal worth 7.2 million soms ($88,000) to Poland .
Moreover, Latvia's coal imports from Kyrgyzstan in the reporting period of this year totaled 1,787 tons worth 13.7 million soms ($143,000).
The main Kyrgyzstan coal importer from January through April 2022 was Uzbekistan. Kyrgyzstan supplied 104,408 tons of coal to Uzbekistan with a total amount of $3.2 million.
Meanwhile, the total value of Kyrgyz exports reached $506.8 million from January through April 2022, which is a decrease of 14.2 percent compared to the same period of last year ($591.2 million).
