BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 4. Kyrgyz Stock Exchange's trading volume substantially increased in July 2022, Trend reports with reference to the monthly review of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange.
Trading volume on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange in July 2022 increased by 6.7 times compared to the corresponding month of last year (177.3 million soms, or $2.1 million) - up to 1.1 billion soms ($14.3 million).
The total amount of trading on the primary market in the reporting month reached 746.5 million soms ($8.9 million), which is 5.8 times higher than in July 2021 (129.4 million soms, or $1.5 million).
Meanwhile, on the secondary market, the trading volume in July 2022 totaled to 449.9 million soms ($5.4 million), which is almost a tenfold increase compared to the (47.8 million soms, or $576,812).
