BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 18. Kyrgyzstan revealed the total amount of money allocated for road construction and rehabilitation in 2022, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Transport.
According to the Ministry, the government of Kyrgyzstan has allocated 7.5 billion soms ($93.6 million) for the construction and repair of roads in 2022, which is 2.5 times higher than in 2021.
"In addition, 20,000 tons of bitumen were purchased from the state budget from the Kazakh company - Qazaq Bitum," the Ministry reported.
Meanwhile, from January through June 2022, the total cost of road works performed in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 1.6 billion soms ($20 million).
