BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 6. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is ready to provide further support to Kyrgyzstan's public-private partnership (PPP), said ADB's Country Director for Kyrgyzstan Kanopkan Lao-Araya, Trend reports via akchabar.kg.

"The ADB and Kyrgyzstan have been cooperating for a long time. We are ready to continue supporting the capacity building of PPPs, helping to create an enabling environment and structuring projects in Kyrgyzstan," she said.

Lao-Araya emphasized the significant potential of Kyrgyzstan in the area of PPPs, stressing the importance of the PPP center's presence in particular.

"Kyrgyzstan and its partners have already achieved a lot in the field of PPP. However, there are still certain infrastructural deficiencies that lead to many other complexities. Good financing and resource availability are necessary for this initiative," the ADB's country director for Kyrgyzstan said.

Meanwhile, a total of 56 PPP projects for over $1 billion are currently being implemented in Kyrgyzstan.
