BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 6. The Kyrgyz company Toro LLC will arrange lamb meat exports to the UAE, Trend reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan.
As reported, a contract for the monthly supply of freshly chilled halal lamb meat to the UAE was signed between the Al Sileitiin Trading Company (UAE) and the Toro Company (Kyrgyzstan).
"The Toro LLC will carry out the export supply of mutton in three stages, with a total volume of 50 to 100 tons," the message says.
The ministry also stressed that, in general, the arrangements of lamb exports to the UAE could provide a positive impetus to the development of agriculture in Kyrgyzstan.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and the UAE from January through July 2022 increased by 66.3 percent over the same period in 2021 ($29.7 million) - up to $49.4 million.
