Industrial producer price in Kyrgyzstan increases

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 3. The industrial producer price in Kyrgyzstan increased by 6.1 percent in 2022, compared to the same period of 2021, Trend reports with reference to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) statement.

In 2022, the industrial producer price across EAEU has increased by 12.4 percent compared to 2021. The increase happened due to increases in the following industries: mining (17.3 percent), manufacturing (11.8 percent), electricity (5.4 percent), water supply (4.8 percent).

Most of all, the prices increased in Kazakhstan (27.1 percent), followed by Belarus (15.2 percent) and Russia (11.4 percent).

In December 2022, price increase in EAEU was registered in water supply, sewer system, and waste management by 9.9 percent; in electricity supply, gas supply and steam and air conditioning – by 6.9 percent; in manufacture – by 0.5 percent. At the same time, prices in mining industry and development of quarries felt by 12.2 percent.

EAEU is an economic union comprising 5 states located in Eurasia: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia, founded to provide stable economic development for member states.
