BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 8. The index of Kyrgyzstan's Stock Exchange reached 2,352.17 points on February 7, decreasing by 5.87 percent from February 6, Trend reports via Kyrgyz media.

The index is falling for the second day in a row; it fell by 2.19 percent on February 6. The decline was caused by the decrease in the stock prices of Kyrgyz Manas International Airport OJSC (MAM OJSC) to 660 soms ($7.61).

Shares of the MAM OJSC traded for about 880 soms ($10.14) at the auction, on February 6. In total, Kyrgyz Stock Exchange traded 14 securities of the airport worth 12,320 soms ($142), that day.

Shares of the airport traded for 950 soms ($10.95) on February 1. The decline in shares of the airport made up 30.5 percent for two days.

According to the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange, the value of trade in deals, registered in the exchange, amounted to 38.92 million soms ($448,575) from January 30 through February 3, increasing by 22.6 percent compared to the preceding week.

In the corresponding period, transactions were made only with corporate securities. Corporate bonds accounted for 86.6 percent, stocks - for 13.34 percent.
