BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 10. The value of foreign and mutual trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan amounted to $11.8 billion from January through December 2022, Deputy Chairman of the National Statistical Committee Bakytbek Shokenov said, Trend reports via Kyrgyz media.
“The volume of mutual trade in goods between Kyrgyzstan and the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) from January through December 2022, according to preliminary data, amounted to $4.5 billion and, compared to the same period of 2021, rose by 32.3 percent,” Shokenov noted.
According to the official data, Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover reached $10.5 billion from January through November 2022, increasing by 40.4 percent over the same period in 2021.
According to the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, the foreign trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and the EAEU amounted to $4.2 billion from January through November 2022, which is by 36.2 percent more than in 11 months of 2022.
Kyrgyzstan’s main trade partners within EAEU during the reporting period were Russia (71.8 percent of the total share) and Kazakhstan (25.9 percent of the total share).
