Kyrgyz Petroleum Company eyes to increase oil processing capacity amid growing demand

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 26. Kyrgyz Petroleum Company plans to increase the oil processing capacity of its plant, Trend reports.

At the moment, the plant of company processes 500,000 tons of oil per year, but the company aimed to increase the processing amid growing demand for oil products.

The company exceeded the initial plan on oil processing from January through March 2023 by 8,348 tons. It was planned to process 48,229 tons of oil, but in fact 56, 577 tons were processed in the period.

The company said that this demonstrated the growing efficiency of work and the readiness of the company to cope with the increased workload.

Currently, the company produces three types of products: AI-80 gasoline, L-0.2-400 diesel, and M-100 fuel oil. In 2022, the plant was able to process 186,253 tons of oil,

Kyrgyz Petroleum Company, established in 1996, is one of the leading producers of petroleum products in Kyrgyzstan. The company is engaged in the production of petroleum products from crude oil and other types of raw materials, including the processing of oil. Currently, the company manufactures three types of products: gasoline, diesel fuel, and mazut. At present, the company employs over 200 employees.
