BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, July 20. The International Airport in the Osh region of Kyrgyzstan handled a total of 8,100 flights from January through June 2023, Trend reports.
According to the information provided by the Manas International Airport JSC, 5,300 of them were international and 2,700 were domestic flights. The passenger flow reached 1.1 million people.
On international routes, a total of 793,700 passengers were served, while on domestic routes, the airport served 355,800 passengers.
At the same time, the International Airport in the Issyk-Kul region handled a total of 292 flights in the first half of 2023, comprising 205 international and 87 domestic flights.
The passenger flow at Issyk-Kul Airport reached 22,000 people, with 21,700 passengers served on international routes and 327 on domestic routes.
Meanwhile, passenger transportation in Kyrgyzstan by all means of transport amounted to 246 million from January through June 2023, which is 8.4 percent higher than in the corresponding months of 2023.
Cargo transportation in the country for the period reached 22,285 million tons, an increase of 14.5 percent year-on-year.
