BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 7. A total of 72,737 tons of oil products were exported from Kyrgyzstan from January through June 2023, which is 37 percent less than in the same period of 2022 (when 113,801 tons were exported), Trend reports.
The data from the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan indicates that the value of these exports reached $50.021 million, which is a 28 percent decrease compared to the figures of the same period in 2022 ($68.643 million).

At the same time, Kyrgyzstan imported 213,636 tons of oil products from January through June 2023, which is 40 percent less than in the same period of 2022 (352,332 tons).
Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover reached $6.7 billion from January through June 2023, which is an increase of 31 percent compared to the first half of 2022 ($5.1 billion).
Kyrgyzstan's exports amounted to $1.306 billion, which is a 34.6 percent increase over $970.5 million recorded in the first half of 2022.
The country's imports amounted to $5.398 billion, up by 30.3 percent compared to the same months of the previous year ($4.142 billion).
