BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 14. The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan expects that revenues to the consolidated budget of the country will amount to 600.7 billion soms ($6.7 billion) in 2024, Ruslan Suinaliev, the First Deputy Minister of Finance of Kyrgyzstan, said, Trend reports.
This announcement was made during a cabinet meeting where the draft of the main directions of fiscal policy for 2024-2028 was presented.
The consolidated budget of Kyrgyzstan has already received over 425 billion soms ($4.8 billion) in revenues from January through July 2023. In December 2022, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said he hoped that consolidated budget of Kyrgyzstan will receive revenues totaling 500 billion soms ($5.6 billion) in 2023.
In 2022, the revenues of the consolidated budget amounted to 607.6 billion soms ($6.8 billion).
The consolidated budget includes: the republican budget; local budgets (excluding transfers from the republican budget); budgets of the Social Fund and the Health Insurance Fund, (excluding transfers from the republican budget).
