Data from the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan indicates that the figure increased 2.3 times compared to the same period in 2022 ($22.587 million). Trade with Italy primarily consisted of Kyrgyz imports from this country.
Kyrgyzstan's imports from Italy were $55.236 million, which is 0.8 percent of Kyrgyzstan's total imports. The value increased by 2.3 times year-on-year ($22.721 million from January from July 2022).
Kyrgyzstan's exports to Italy amounted to $211,000, rising by 55 percent compared to the same period in 2022 ($136,200).
Overall, Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover with European countries totaled $1.066 billion from January through July 2023, making up 13.1 percent of Kyrgyzstan's overall trade. The figure increased 3.9 times compared to the same period in 2022 ($272.972 million).
